Monday Made It!

I'm linking up with Tara from 4th Grade Frolics

I made this Pantone color swatch calendar. My husband dragged me to Lowe's one day and I saw the paint swatch display and I instantly gravitated towards it. Here's the background....when I was studying graphic design in college I use to look through the Pantone color swatch books all the time. When I saw all the individual paint swatches I knew I would be making something out of them.

I guess making a calendar makes me feel more organized. This is the second over sized calendar I've made this year! All I used were the Pantone paint color swatches from Lowe's, black scrapbook paper, and the Cuttin Up Cricut cartridge to make the numbers and letters. Very easy and simple project!

Currently October

I'm linking up with Farley at Oh' Boy 4th Grade. I just love her monthly linky!

I'm starting to get excited about my fall break that is coming up next week. It's only two days off but boy, do I need it!!!! It's been a CRAZY few weeks at work. This year we are giving all the third - fifth grade benchmarks online. I can't even talk about it right now..... let me just say, that there's only one more day left!

I really want a massage so I can just relax. I actually have a gift certificate for a one hour massage that my hubby and daughter gave to me for my birthday in June but I've been too lazy to schedule an appointment.

Next week on my fall break I finally get some time off to spend with my daughter (she's 13). I think this entire school year I have only picked her up from school maybe 8 times! Last year I picked her up just about every day from school but this year has been so hectic and busy my husband has taken over. It makes me sad that I can't leave work on time to pick her up.

I guess my trick would be Google Forms. I've used Google Docs for some time now but never really took the time to explore Google Forms. I like that it turns everything into a spreadsheet form. It can be used as parent surveys, mini assessments (if students have access to a computer in class), online tests, anonymous surveys, etc.
