Fraction Freebie

First off, I hope all my East Coast blogging friends and family are safe and okay!! Wow, another month come and almost gone! At my school, Halloween and Valentine's Day are the holidays the students and families go all out on. We have an annual Halloween parade around the neighborhood with a marching band and firetruck. It's a big event at my school!

The next few weeks, the focus in math will be fractions. I made this graphic organizer for students to practice multiple ways of drawing fractions. I hope you can use this in your classroom.

Make It Monday

Last Friday the scrapbook club I hang out with once a month came up with a clever Owl paper bag craft.

It was very simple and so cute! I can see this being used in a classroom as a surprise for the birthday student or a cute way to leave a note to your student. The paper you use for this project can be customized for a boy or a girl. Here are some owl sayings I found.

Monday Made It #1

I'm linking up with Tara from 4th Grade Frolics. I showed this yesterday buy I'll explain how I made it.

All I used to make this was: my cricut, scrapbook paper, adhesive, smashbook tape, ruler, dry erase board, and some left over scrapbook flowers.  I just measured the dry erase board and split it up evenly 5 x 7 squares, put the smashbook tape down, use the cricut to make the numbers and letters, and added a cute flower on the side. Very easy!
